Indulge in Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s popular hopper night which is back at the Terrace this July. Every month, the hotel transforms the Terrace with a spread of authentic Sri Lankan delicacies ideal for all enthusiasts of Lankan cuisine.


Crispy, stuffed hoppers and egg hoppers, string hoppers, kottu rotti, vegetables and meat curries, pittu, babath, chicken curry, fish ambulthiyal, and many other Sri Lankan favourites will be prepared by the chefs and served piping hot.  A Calypso band will make its way around each table, taking requests and entertaining guests.  
Take delight in local cuisine whilst relaxing on the Terrace with the infinity pool and Beira Lake creating a soothing and enjoyable evening on Friday, 13 July from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. The evening will be topped off with the sounds of the local calypso band that will create a true authentic feel to an enjoyable night under the stars.  
Just about every imaginable dessert will be displayed on the dessert counter. Be it lavariya, dodol, milk toffee, kokis, kavum, asmi, halapa, mung kavum, coconut rock or banana fritters, every bite will take you back in time to those childhood memories of preparing these sweets at home.  
To complete the journey, the staff will then serve a traditional ginger tea. When the night draws to a close, you may find comfort in the assurance that you would not have to wait long for another hopper night.
