GMNet launches a CSE based free game simulator

Global Media Networks Limited has launched a Colombo Stock Exchange based free game simulator ( www.vstock.com) which will help investors learn the activities of the Colombo bourse, before starting to actively trade.

According to the initiators of the vstocx.com, it integrates the real life order placement system at the CSE and backup operations of the Central Depository System popularly known as CDS into one financial software.

The company says, VStox has also successfully integrated the cash and bank account management of the investors, making it a close to real life financial management tool for stock market investors.

“We believe this would be an ideal tool to learn the Colombo Stock Market activities for anyone before start trading real on Sri Lankan company stocks- besides this tool enable an investor to decide how a portfolio of their own could be built or lost and to be wise investor that could gain a higher return” Lyanne Kao Director Global Media Network said.

“Objective of the game is to educate and assist the investors to manage and experience varying risk, return scenarios of the capital markets” added a statement issued by the Global Media Network, announcing its new project.

According to the Director of GMNet, Jit Wijayapura, through this simulator, an investor can learn how to be billionaire or lose all his investments and then start from scratch.
