Muslim Ladies College Interact Club engages with community

The Interact Club of Muslim Ladies’ College Colombo 04 organized their Annual ‘Ifthar” ceremony at Miami Reception Hall, Colombo  recently under the theme of Restoring hopes Rebuilding lives, with more than  150 Interactors from leading schools from Colombo were participate.
The special invitees at the event were the orphans of the Ceylon Moor Ladies’ Union Orphanage Balapokuna. The Chief Guest was Muslim Ladies’ College Principal Dr. Hajarjahan Mansoor. Guest Speaker Al Haj Al-Hafil Ehsan Iqbal and Rotary advisor Rtn. Rohan Karunarathne were also present at this ceremony.  The Interact Club of Muslim Ladies’ College completed many projects including visiting the Fathima Welfare Centre and CIS Orphanage; distributing dry rations and gifts and Ifthar with the orphans and educating them about the Value of Education.
The Chairperson of the Interactor Zumra Thaha made Ifthar 2012 very colourful and significant, also entire event was covered with total Interrelationship and with multi cultural values within the other communities.
