Zahira College marks 120 year anniversary with sixes soccer tournament

Zahira College Colombo Soccer Committee will organise the sixes soccer tournament to mark the 120 years celebration of the Zahira College. It will be held from 1 to 12 September at the College Grounds.

A media briefing was held at the Zahira College in connection with the Soccer Tournament of the Zahira College 120 years celebration. Here organising committee Chairman Muhsin Ariff addressing the media. Principal Mohamed Jiffry, Chairman Sports Council Tony Amith, Deputy Chairman M.S. Mazeer and M.U.M. Azmi were also present.

The winners of the tournament will be given champion trophy with cash award Rs. 50,000 and Runners up will receive trophy with Rs. 25,000 cash award and medals and certificate.
The participating 16 schools will be St. Benedict College, St. Joseph College, Lumbini College, Wesley College, Ananda College, Misbaha Central College (Madampe), Hindu College, Demazenond College, Holy Cross College, Maristella College, Dharmaraja College, Zahira College (Mawanella) Royal College (Colombo), Royal Institute, Gateway College and Zahira College (Colombo).
