An evening of local culture at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo

Authentic Sri Lankan delicacies come to the Terrace this month with an array of local dishes created by the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo chefs.
Hoppers, a local dish enjoyed by many, can be savoured at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo once again this month. Experience an evening of indulgence with crispy, stuffed hoppers and egg hoppers, string hoppers, kottu rotti, vegetable and meat curries, pittu, tripe curry, chicken curry, fish ambulthiyal and many other Sri Lankan favourites.  

A night dedicated to hoppers is a hopper enthusiasts dream come true and can be enjoyed alongside the sounds of a calypso band entertaining guests with old favourites. Creating an atmosphere with traditional entertainment, the lively calypso band will take requests from the crowd.
The Terrace is transformed into an evening of Sri Lankan delicacies, with local food and music creating an evening of culture. Relax by the Beira Lake on Friday 14th September 2012 and soak up the atmosphere and the sounds of the local music. The evening begins at 7.00pm and goes on until 11.00pm where you can tuck into a range of crispy hoppers and a wide selection of desserts that make up the dessert station, with an array of local treats available to indulge in.  Be it Lavariya, Dodol, Milk Toffee, Kokis, Kavum, Asmi, Halapa, Mung Kavum, Coconut Rock or Banana Fritters, these treats are sure to bring alive those happy memories spent with the family.
