Mobitel supports Civil Defence Force ‘Nandimithra’ Football Team

Mobitel, the national mobile service provider has announced its sponsorship of the Nandimithra Football team for a period of three years. The sponsorship is part of its ongoing commitment to support the youth of this country to attain global heights and usher in a positive team building initiative at a national level.

Football is a popular sport amongst the youth in the country and Mobitel is confident that Nandimithra would be a strong team; being enthusiastic and passionate to compete in games of its league. The Nandimithra football team sponsorship goes hand-in-hand with the mobile service provider’s drive to support local sports activities. Mobitel came forward to support Cricket and has been doing so for the last decade, staying deeply committed towards the nation’s pride and joy. Mobitel extends its support to the game of football, contributing its best resources to uplift yet another youth-centric sport in Sri Lanka, in the true spirit of the Mobitel brand ‘We care. Always.’
The agreement between the Civil Defence Force and Mobitel was signed recently in the presence of CSD Football Committee Chairman Lt. U.M. Perera, CSD Director General Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris, Football Team CSD Skipper Shalinda Gayashanth, Mobitel CEO Lalith De Silva and Mobitel Chief Officer – Enterprise Business Development Manju Fernando.
