Successor to Bohra Leader arrives in Sri Lanka

Successor of the International Dawoodi Bohra Community and member of the Bohra Royal Family, Syedi Aali Qadr Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin arrived in the country late last night to deliver a sermon and meet the followers of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Colombo.


Syedi Aali Qadr Mufaddal Bhaisaheb, the successor and son of the Bohra Leader, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, was welcomed by thousands of His followers in a grand reception held at ‘Saifee Villa’ in Colombo last night.
Hundreds of Dawoodi Bohras from all parts of the world who have arrived in the island to attend the sermon, will obtain the blessings of His Holiness and also take part in various religious events which are expected to be held this week.
This is the first historic visit to the island made by His Holiness Syedi Aali Qadr Mufaddal Bhai Saheb after his elevation as successor to His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb.
