t-sips powered Sri Lanka Schools National Rowing Championships comes to an end
Four days of spirited rowing by 14 schools culminated with Ladies College winning 14 medals (6G, 7S,  1B) and Royal emerging winner of the Boy’s category with 13 medals (5G, 4S, 4B). In the girls section, Ladies College dominated the U14 and U18 categories while Royal College dominated the U14, U16 and U18 categories in the boys section. S. Thomas appeared as the U 20 winners.

Standing behind the Sri Lanka Schools National Rowing Championships was t-sips. The tea brand is no stranger to the local rowing arena, having been the title sponsor of the Royal Thomian Regatta for 3 consecutive years and the proud sponsor of the Royal College rowing team for the same period of time.
t-sips is honoured to have been part of the inaugural Sri Lanka Schools National Championships which they see as an event to raise the standards of rowing in Sri Lankan schools to national or even international standards.
The closing ceremony unfolded grandly with speeches given by captains and officials of the sport and honoured guests, amidst a large gathering of spectators. The overall champions of each boys and girls category were awarded the coveted, sterling silver, t-sips sponsored trophy known as the ‘Silver Oar’.
