Dissanayake is under immense pressure these days, as University Academics are on a continuous strike demanding higher salaries for their duties.
Taking their protest to a higher level, the University academics began a protest march from the South of the country early this week.
The march is expected to reach capital Colombo tomorrow with opposition political parties strongly backing the move.
Apart from the protest march launched by the University Academics, University students are also marching from Kandy towards Colombo, demanding student’s rights.
The Students protest march is also expected to reach Colombo during tomorrow.
