National Chamber seminar on EPF and ETF

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will be holding a seminar on Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees Trust Fund (ETF) in Sinhala and English languages on 27 and 28 March 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 4th floor (Lotus) Auditorium No. 450 D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha Colombo 10, of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

Seminars will explain all the required information that any employer or employee should have with regard to EPF & ETF. Information provided will be:  the types of employees and income covered under the EPF and ETF, correct procedure of submissions of returns, remittance procedure and time limits, obligations of employers, procedure of claiming benefits, different types of benefits available under the two schemes and the withdrawal procedure. Participants will have a chance to discuss with the speakers, the information they want to know with regard to EPF and ETF. Hence the participants are advised to come with their issues and unclear areas which could be cleared at the seminar.
EPF Commissioner of Labour L.K.R. Perera, and ETF Board Deputy General Manager J.M.S.B Udagama will address the Sinhala session while, Commission of Labour B. Wasanthan and Udagama will address  the English session.
