Senkadagala to raise Rs. 213 million via a ‘Right Issue’ following the debt issue
Sri Lanka Police on Sunday has arrested a Russian national for riding a motorcycle in the Southern expressway, violating the highway rules.
According to the Police, motor-cyclists are not allowed to travel in the expressway.
Despite the prohibition, the Russian biker has entered the expressway from the Welipenna inter-change at around midnight Sunday to reach Colombo via the highway.
He has been drunk at the time of the incident and has collided with a van that was traveling in the high-way.
The suspect has escaped with minor injuries suffered owing to the accident.
