Super Four Provincial Tournament Media Launch
SLC will kick start this year’s ‘Super Four Provincial Tournament’ on the 30th March 2018, the topmost domestic fixture in the country, In terms of longer version of the game. (Four day games).
The competition will consist of 6 games and each team will get 3 apiece, while all the national contracted players are set to take part in the tournament.
The four teams, named after Districts which Sri Lanka Cricket has established ‘Center of Excellence’, namely Colombo, Galle, Kandy and Dambulla will be captained by top Sri Lankan National Players.
Test Captatin Dinesh Chandimal will lead the Team Colombo, Suranga Lakmal, the Vice-Captain of the Test team will lead the Team Galle, Angle Mathews, Sri Lankan Captain of the shorter version will lead the Team Kandy, while Test opener Dimuth Karunaratne will lead the Team Dambulla.
