Nigerian Cricketers to arrive in Sri Lanka

Nigerian cricket team will arrive in Sri Lanka on Sunday to take part in a nine day official visit, announced the SLC.

The team during their stay in the country will compete in four T20 games against the first class cricket clubs in the Island.

The tour by Nigerians will be followed by the arrivals of the Hong Kong Cricket team, who will also play in four T20 games.

“Sri Lanka Cricket is hosting the above two teams in accordance of uplifting the standard of cricket of the Associate Members of ICC,”, announced the SLC in a statement issued.

The move by the SLC will help both teams the opportunity to get more cricketing exposure by competing with top teams.
