Dengue Emergency Response Force to take effect in Hanwella
Western Province Health Services Director Amal Harsha De Silva says that a special programme will be in place to control the spread of Dengue in Hanwella.
Dr. De Silva added that the Dengue Emergency Response Force will be deployed for this purpose.
Five schools in the Hanwella area that were closed as a result of the spread of Dengue were re-opened subsequent to clean-up programme. Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva said that twenty eight confirmed cases of Dengue patients have been reported from the Hanwella area so far.
