President meets Polonnaruwa District UPFA Peoples Representatives

The people's representatives of the Polonnaruwa District stressed that they will be committed to ensure the victory of President Mahinda Rajapakse who brought a new era to the country while ending the 30 year long war by eradicating LTTE terrorists. Now the President is steering the country towards a golden age.

The public representatives of Polonnaruwa further emphasised that the President Mahinda Rajapaksa is steering the country towards being “Wonder of Asia” and there is no other strong leader in Sri Lanka's politics who could achieve this target.

 

These views were expressed at a meeting the President had with the public representatives of the UPFA in Polonnaruwa Sunday (23).

 

The President briefed them on the development work implemented and future projects to be implemented in the Polonnaruwa district.


Minister C.B.Ratnayake, Deputy Ministers Siripala Gamlath, Chandrasiri Sooriyarachchi, Parliamentarian Roshan Ranasinghe, Provincial Minister Punchi Banda Ratnayake, Ministers representing the North Central Province, Provincial Councillors were present at the discussion. (KH)
