Sinhalese translation of ‘Why Marx Was Right’ to be launched on 23rd in Colombo
The revolutionary student council have undertaken to release the Sinhalese translation of the book titled ‘Why Marx Was Right’, written by Terry Eagleton. In this book, Terry Eagleton discusses a number of popular criticisms against Marxism and Socialism and proceeds to show the relevance of Marxism to the present day society. The launch of the book will be held at 3.00 pm on the 23rd of December at the Hector Kobbekaduwa Institute on Wijeyarama Mawatha, Colombo 7. Professor Sumanasiri Liyanage and Front Line Socialist Party Central Committee member, Pubudu Jayagoda will address the gathering.
