‘Who do you live for?’ will be the emotive theme of this year’s Life Insurance Week (LIW) programme to be conducted on a national scale by life insurance leader Ceylinco life, for the 8th consecutive year.
More than 4000 insurance sales professionals will be deployed in all districts of the country from 11th to 17th February 2015 to visit homes, offices, schools and other public places in a concerted campaign to communicate the importance of life insurance to the masses.
Mass media campaigns supporting this large-scale direct interaction with the populace will use a true story to underline the value of life insurance, the company said. “The public response to our life insurance week has been encouraging over the years. The concept has helped to educate the general public on why life insurance is needed and to clear misconceptions about the product,” Ceylinco Life Managing Director and CEO R. Renganathan said.
Ceylinco life has close to a million lives covered by active policies. The company is acknowledged as the benchmark for innovation in the local insurance industry for its work in product research and development, customer service, professional development and corporate social responsibility. Independently rated one of Sri Lanka’s most valuable brands, Ceylinco Life has maintained its leadership of the country’s long term insurance sector from 2004 onwards. The company operates the largest branch network among local life insurance companies, and has won multiple international and local awards for its commitment to the community and success in brand equity building.
