Say ‘NO’ to political parties fielding drug dealers as candidates

National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) says they are capable of eradicating illegal drug menace from the country in six months if vested with necessary powers.

NDDCB Chairman Dr. Chamara Nilanga Samarasingha while noting that one needs to have a genuine intention to sweep out the menace completely from the country said they only need maximum six months if the authority is given full legal blessings and powers to do so.

Participating in Sirasa Satana political programme last night (28) he also appealed to public not to cast their vote to any candidate or any family member whose name is linked with drug dealing and also to cast their vote against political parties who field such candidates.
