Who jumped in front of the night mail?
An unidentified person has jumped in front of a train yesterday (5) mid night in Anuradhapura Police division, Police Media Unit told Ceylon Today Online.
Later, it was reported that it was the night mail train plying to Colombo on Jaffna – Colombo rail road. According to our sources this incident took place near Shravasthipura railway station.
Police said that the victim is about 30-years-old. The dead body is kept in the morgue of Anuradhapura hospital for identification. Anuradhapura Police are conducting further investigations into this incident.
