Kalu Ganga devours mother and two daughters
A woman and her two daughters have drowned while bathing in the Kalu Ganga in Thebuwana police division yesterday (26) at around 4.00p.m., Police Media Unit told Ceylon Today Online.
The deceased have been identified as a 42-year-old mother and her two daughters, aged 16 and 11. They were residents of Thebuwana area.
The dead bodies are kept at the morgue of Horana hospital. The post mortem examinations are to be conducted today (27).
Thebuwana Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
