NDB in major push to energise Jaffna

NDB will be conducting a five-day series of activities in the Jaffna peninsula, in a bid to inspire and empower the people of the region towards sustainable financial progress; by introducing them to the bank’s unique financial solutions and advisory services. The megatown-storming initiative titled NDB Jaffnaspire 2015 will kick start on 22 April and continue through the week until Saturday, 25 April.
Community development
The program line-up will place key focus on community development and empowerment of individuals of varying social strata. Towards the benefit of the greater community, NDB will conduct a series of CSR activities within the region including; handing over computer equipment to Jaffna Library, donation of essential items to Thellipalai Base Hospital and improving sanitation levels at Sivapoomi, a charity organisation serving elders and children with special needs.
Investor forum
An Investor Forum will be held on 22 April, with the aim to share business acumen, trending investment opportunities and market insights with entrepreneurs and prominent leaders of the trading community in the peninsula. The resource personnel for the event will be highly experienced bankers and investment advisors drawn from NDB Securities, NDB Wealth Management and AIA Insurance Lanka PLC. The forum will also provide an opportunity for the business community to consult the veteran bankers of NDB directly and seek one-on-one financial advice.

 

 

First ever vehicle fair in Jaffna
With NDB Jaffnaspire 2015, the bank hopes to bring novel experiences to the people of Jaffna – thus a vehicle fair, a first of its kind to be held in the peninsula will be held from 24 and 25 April at the Muttaveli ground. Renowned vehicle dealers including DIMO, AMW and Toyota Lanka will showcase latest models of brand new vehicles at discounted prices at the fair. Speedy leasing solutions from NDB will enable customers who walk into this fair to drive-away in their dream vehicle within just one-day.

 

 

Super Singers live in concert
NDB Jaffnaspire will conclude on an exciting note on Saturday, 25 April with a musical extravaganza presented by the winners of ‘Super Singers’ – the popular South Indian reality musical program aired on Vijay TV. The Top 5 singers of the ‘Super Singer’ program, who have won the hearts of many in the peninsula, will be performing at the live musical show which will held at the Sellamuttu Grounds in Mannipai.
