Anantaya wins Booking.com Award of Excellence

Booking.com, the world leader in online booking, has bestowed Anantaya Resorts & Spa, Chilaw, with the ‘2014 Award of Excellence’, recognising it as a top performing hotel based on guest reviews.
This award reflects on the superior level of guest satisfaction offered by Anantaya as commended by guests on the hotel’s cleanliness, prompt service and courteous staff. Anantaya has also gained excellent ratings for its location, value for money and quality of food.
Laugfs Leisure Ltd Marketing Manager Musthaq Ahamed commenting on the award said that it is a testament to the committed efforts of the staff of the hotel.

Booking.com is the world leader in booking hotel accommodation online. It allows travellers to book accommodation and post reviews based on their experiences. Booking.com has approximately 540,000 properties globally on contract, processes over 700,000 reservations per day and is available in more than 40 languages.
The Award of Excellence is given out to properties by Booking.com on an annual basis in honour of their achievements during the year, as measured by their overall guest review score. Only hotels with positive ratings of 95% and above are considered for this award and the top performers are selected by the judges after stringent analysis.
This is the second international accolade received by Anantaya within the space of a few weeks, having been named one of the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Sri Lanka by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site.
Located 65 km north of the Bandaranaike International Airport, Anantaya was opened for business in 2014 by Laugfs Leisure, the leisure arm of Laugfs Holdings Ltd. Nestled between the Indian Ocean and Chilaw Lagoon, the resort is surrounded by crystal blue water and is home to several mangroves of bird life. It holds 88 spacious and inviting rooms to choose from, ranging from superior rooms to suites. Each room offers a breathtaking view of both the ocean and lagoon where hotel guests can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The in-house restaurant serves international as well as local cuisine, which tickles the taste buds with traditional spices.
