Ranbhumi Rally reaches 66th stop in Bibile
The Ranbhumi Rally for Unity, spreading the message of co-existence across the country, reached Bibile on Friday, the 66th stop on its route. The rally commenced its 22nd day from Bandarawela and was extended a warm welcome by the locals at all stops.
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for CHEC Port City Colombo (Pvt) Ltd, Liang Thow Ming stated that at every turn, on the journey of the Ranbhumi Rally, the thirst of the Sri Lankan people for greatness was seen. He further added that there is nothing holding the country back, and it is time the world sees Sri Lanka as a shining example of what a nation united, can achieve in a short span of time. He further noted that all those at Colombo Port City, believe that the country can achieve this greatness and there is belief that it can be done in a short period as a decade or two.
The rally thereafter commenced its journey to Badulla from Bandarawela where a colourful ceremony welcomed the rally to Badulla.
