The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Amendment Bill was passed in Parliament today with a majority of 59 votes. 71 MPs voted in favor of the amendment bill while 12 voted against it.
The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Amendment Bill was presented in Parliament a short while ago by the Leader of the House Nimal Siripala De Silva. The debate over the bill has commenced.
