The 2023 budget will be presented to Parliament on 14th November. President Ranil Wickremesinghe, in his capacity as Finance Minister, will present the budget to Parliament. The Second Reading of the budget will take place on 22 November and the third reading on 8th December. (Colombo Gazette)

Colombo Chief Magistrate s Court has issued notice on Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to submit facts on November 10 regarding the investigations into a complaint on the passport, birth certificate and the National Identity Card (NIC) of State Minister Diana Gamage.
The budget for the fiscal year will be tabled in the parliament on November 14, the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs decided today (Oct. 27).
