Indian External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar has departed after concluding his two-day visit to Sri Lanka.
Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar assured that India will extend financing assurances to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to clear the way for Sri Lanka to move forward to recover from the economic crisis and had decided not to wait on others, but to do what is right.
In conjunction with the 75th Independence Day, under the theme, 'National Youth Platform', President Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed to implement a youth-led development project covering the entire island to make Sri Lanka a developed country by the 100th Independence Celebration (2048) through youth ideas, skills and interventions.
