Colombo Chief Magistrate, Rashmi Singappuli, yesterday (20), ordered Cinnamon Garden Police to arrest the anonymous telephone callers who made death threats to Dr. Nirmal Ranjith Devasiri, President of Federation ofandnbsp;University Teachers'andnbsp;Associationandnbsp;(FUTA), and produce them before courts.
Police have commenced investigations into an anonymous phone call which had warned of bombs placed at the Gampaha High Court and Magistrates Court premises.
Gampaha Magistrate has been closed due to a bomb threat short while ago.andnbsp;An anonymous caller had said that there is bomb in the Gampaha magistrate building.

A mini arms cache that included an assault rife and over hundred rounds of live ammunition was recovered from an abandoned house at Ottamawadi in Valachcheni in Batticaloa earlier today.
