Musaeus College PPA Victoria (MCPPA VIC) delivered an unforgettable New Year Festival on Sunday, March 17th, in Melbourne, Australia, celebrating tradition and community spirit. From 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM, attendees adorned in traditional attire enjoyed a vibrant array of festivities. Highlights included traditional avurudu kavili, exciting avurudu games for both children and adults, and coveted prizes for Avurudu kumari/kumara.
Organized by MCPPA Victoria, a stalwart community and charity organization, the event embodied the vision of its founders, Mrs. Malini Jayasinghe and Mrs. Ramani Liyanarachchi, alongside twelve devoted past pupils of Musaeus College. This gathering not only honored tradition but also fostered strong community bonds, echoing the organization’s commitment to unity and giving back.
