In a heartwarming initiative, the Dayada & Sri Lankan Kidney Foundation has launched a project aimed at aiding patients in Sri Lanka, specifically those grappling with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and its variants. The foundation pledges 5000.00 SLR per month for a duration of 12 months to ten families facing significant financial challenges due to CKD. This noble endeavor underscores the commitment of Dayada & SLKF to alleviate the burden of those battling health issues in our community. The project’s initiation at the Dehiaththakandiya base hospital CKD clinic marks a pivotal step in extending essential support to those in need. Moreover, the recent Dayada 2024 fundraising dinner dance, held on the 10th of February 2024 and organized by the SLK Foundation, stands as a testament to the unwavering solidarity and generosity of all those who rally behind this vital cause, even as far as the United Kingdom.
